Your Journey Starts Here
Step 1: TEQ (Tomatis® Evaluation Questionnaire)
Time taken: Approx. 30 minutes
To begin with I will send you a preliminary evaluation questionnaire. This online platform assesses various aspects such as behavior, emotions, language, attention, balance, coordination, and more.
Parents can complete the questionnaire online, providing an accurate evaluation of the child’s abilities and profile.
Step 2: Preliminary Interview
Time taken: Approx. 1,5 hours
Following the questionnaire we have an interview to discuss TEQ results and may assess your complete listening profile using the Tomatis® Listening Test (TLT). The TLT evaluates the ear-to-brain connection’s effectiveness in processing auditory information beyond hearing ability. Emotional factors, trauma, or stress can impact effective listening.
TEQ as well as TLT help identify your listening potential and possible dysfunctions to design a customized Tomatis® Listening Program to help you achieve your desired goals. Unlike a hearing test, it evaluates the brain’s reception, processing, and understanding of auditory information.
Step 3: Intensive Listening & Audiovocal Sessions
Time taken: The standard program lasts for 14 days in multiple blocks
Once the evaluation is complete, the listening sessions can begin. I will customize an exclusive listening program based on your individual needs. During the listening sessions, you will use one of our devices – either the Maestro by Tomatis® or TalksUp® in the comfort of your own home.
The listening program generally spans 60 minutes per day over 14 days, which may need to be repeated 2 or 3 times or more on the basis of your or your child’s condition.
Step 4: Consolidation Program
Time taken: The standard program lasts for 4 weeks right after intensives
After completing the listening sessions, it is typically advised to follow a 4-week consolidation phase to allow the intensive listening experience to fully integrate. This period is crucial for continuing to stimulate the ear and brain, maximizing the benefits.
The consolidation program includes carrying out stimulation exercises during this four-week hiatus, with sessions scheduled thrice weekly, each lasting 30 minutes or half the time of your daily listening session.
Step 5: Intermediary or Exit Interview
Time taken: 1- 1.5 hours
Following every session with a break of around 4 weeks, you and/or your child will undergo an interim interview and assessment. Based on the results of this evaluation, a decision will be made regarding the continuation of the program, as well as the scheduling of new listening sessions.
Services ▸ Forbrain
What is FORBRAIN®?
The Forbrain is a unique patented technology and functions as an audio-vocal workout. The moment you speak the device corrects the sound of your voice via a dynamic filter.
The sounds are immediately transmitted back to you via bone conduction, in other words through vibration. You will not hear an echo but rather you will hear your voice differently.
The fact that the filter is dynamic explains that it is continually activating and de-activating the sounds that you are making. It is programmed to amplify high frequencies and soften low frequencies and is triggered by the initial articulation of words and by the pronunciation of long vowels.

Services ▸ Soundsory
SOUNDSORY® is a Multi-Sensory Home-Based Program. It helps improve motor and cognitive abilities
The program consists of specially designed music processed with neuro-acoustic modifications as well as a series of movement-based exercises. The program is 30 minutes a day for 40 days.
The first mission of Soundsory® is to focus on rhythm which is not what we try to achieve with Tomatis®.
The music is very much rhythmical with 3 different tempos (For example, Tempo 2 for the marches). Each day is a mix of those tempos to avoid routine for the brain.
By opposition to Tomatis® the gating is designed to be less strong and also easily predictable for the brain. The idea is not to challenge the brain like we do with unpredictable sound contrasts of the Tomatis® Method which is aimed at listening attention.
The aim of Soundsory® is to focus and integrate rhythm to indeed help the brain create prediction (and at the end satisfaction and movement).
Rhythm is really important for movement and coordination. Click here for more explanation.
The bone conduction is not designed to work with precession as in the Tomatis® Method but rather favours low frequencies to stimulate the entire vestibular system and therefore encourages rhythm.
As mentioned before, the sound contrasts are less strong and the high frequencies do not have same impact on the Cochlea system, since the purpose is not to increase energy but to impact whole body movement.
Physiologically, it is quite different from the Tomatis® Method and can be considered as a complementary approach.
It does not pretend to get the same results as we can get with Tomatis® but this approach might be powerful for people with vestibular problems. Concerns Autism, Sensory Integration disorders, (often experienced as we age) Auditory Processing Disorders who also might have underlying vestibular problems.
